ASP Annual Meeting housing

Please note that you need to make the room reservations by phone in order to obtain the ASP special rate

Holiday Inn by the Bay (conference hotel): conference rate is $160 single or double occupancy (cut-off for conference rate is 6/13/07)

Eastland Park Hotel: conference rate is $149 single or double occupancy (cut-off for conference rate is 6/14/07)

La Quinta Inn And Suites is just outside the downtown Portland area. You will not be able to walk to the conference hotel, but the new hotel has a free shuttle service and they are willing to drop you off and pick you up each day. The price is $119 per night. A limited number of dorm rooms at University of Southern Maine (Portland Hall) are available at $35 per person per night. If you are interested in reserving a room there, contact conferences@usm.maine.edu specifying the nights desired.

Ten rooms are also blocked at the Eastland Park for graduate students at a rate of $100.00 (+ 7% sales tax) per night, with the option of adding a third person at a surcharge of $15.00. This rate requires a rooming list with the graduate student's name and who they will be sharing a room with. Students interested in this rate should contact Stefan Gafner at StefanG@tomsofmaine.com.
